Work on the Ozone platform (a Chromium platform layer) for Iva Home Screen has started.
Resolved issues with Chromium's dependency on ANGLE for the GPU stack.
ANGLE changes have been pushed upstream for Wayland support.
Testing of Ozone Demo across platforms is ongoing, with plans to abstract it into a "Mini Ozone" platform layer for Wayland and other platform support.
Flutter Updates:
Google has moved the Flutter engine into a mono-repo with the Flutter SDK.
Joel plans to update affected repositories (Flutter Engine Workspace, Automation, Meta Flutter) once the changes reach the stable channel.
Auto-roll processes will need adjustments due to these changes.
App Store Proof of Concept:
Awaiting feedback from Daniel regarding the app stream XML parser.
Joel plans to follow up with Marius if needed.
Release Planning:
Discussion on upcoming releases:
Salmon release planned for early next week.

Joel confirmed he would update the App Store Proof of Concept document directly instead of using comments.

Joel explained the motivation for working with Chromium:
Enhancing platform support for Iva Home Screen across multiple platforms (e.g., Wayland, Mac, Windows).
Improving compatibility and reducing independent codebases for platform support.
Long-term goal to upstream Ozone platform work and integrate it into the Flutter engine.
