Contribution barrier survey : results and analysis progress check
The survey links are still active, but downloaded results on Sep. 27, 2025. We got 62 responses in total.

total: 25+35+0+2=62
Notes
We could not present survey links/QR codes at the Automotive World Japan because of the organizer’s policy
It turned out that survey questions in Traditional Chinese (from Taiwan) were based on a bit older ones unfortunately. Ones before we divide question 6 into 2 sub-questions. Need to adjust (or exclude).
Retry reaching out Mainland China folks next time.
Maybe we can retry at the SOAFEE Shanghai Seminar/Workshop
Analysis
Itoh and Ishii-san had a short discussion how to proceed analysis work. We would like to proceed the work in 2 faces approach.
(1) Hypothesis based analysis (by Ishii-san)
(2) Statistical analysis (by Itoh)
Completed initial pre-data processing into Pandas DataFrame and generating some basic pie charts using matplotlib
Will try to some statistical modeling method. E.g. clustering etc.
Next step is (maybe) using Gen AI for both YES/NO answers and free text answers.
The above 2 approaches can complement each other, and we can expect to get more insights by combining the 2 analysis approaches.
Chinese version Survey
Jaylin actually completed to setup Chinese survey and advertised it using Feishu ()?? (Chinese version LinedIn), and got 5 responses.
Need to share necessary updates with Jaylin (Action Item: Itoh)
AOB?
